Living with mental illness

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

This is a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental health conditions in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

When: Every Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Where: Northwest Community Hospital
800 W. Central, Learning Center Room 6
Arlington Heights

Park on the west side of the Hospital in the Busse Center Garage. Take the elevator to the lower level.

Fun at One

NAMI's Northwest Suburban, Barrington Area and Schaumburg Area invite individuals ages 20+ working on recovery join us for our monthly Fun at One outing. We do fun things like going out to eat, movies, bowling, a nature walk etc…

Family Support

NAMI Family Support Groups

These are for family members or friends.
We have 2 groups. One meets weekly and the other meets once a month.

Weekly Support:
When: Every Thursday from 7:00 – 8:30pm
Where: Northwest Community Hospital
800 W. Central, Learning Center
Arlington Heights, IL

Park on the west side of the Hospital in the Busse Center Garage. Take the elevator to the lower level.

Monthly Support:
When: Second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 – 8:30pm
Where: St. Emily’s Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL


NAMI Support for Parents
This is for parents of young adults, adolescents, children and teens.
We have one group that meets twice monthly.

When: First and Third Friday of each month* from 7:00pm-8:30pm
Where: Northwest Community Hospital
800 W. Central, Learning Center Room 5
Arlington Heights, IL

Park on the west side of the Hospital in the Busse Center Garage. Take the elevator to the lower level.
